Unstoppable Westbrook Hay U11s clinch the county title
The team went unbeaten through the day and, although they started slowly, the boys raised their game over the course of the matches – playing some beautiful passing football in the process.
Ibrahim Busari proved to be a key player in the group stage, notching a couple of goals early on.

Hide AdThe semi-final saw Westbrook play Shenley, and a 1-0 win understates what a comprehensive performance the boys produced.
A well worked combination between Max Delyfer and Lewis Lavin saw a beautifully struck shot by Toby Dewick give the team the lead.
Further opportunities came their way but the goals just would not go in. Goalkeeper Finn Graham was a calming influence and, although he didn’t have too much to do, he made some super saves when called upon.
The final against Knebworth was won in comfortable fashion with Dewick and captain Freddie Moriarty scoring early goals to claim the trophy the team last won in 2009
