Two wins out of three for Kings Langley in friendlies

Kings Langley ended their busy pre-season schedule with two wins and a defeat against SSML sides.

At the weekend they lost 1-0 at Sun Sports, Clem Asante getting the only goal of the game for their Watford-based opponents.

However they beat Oxhey Jets 4-1 thanks to two goals apiece from Josh Chamberlain and Sean Coughlan.

Last Tuesday they won 3-0 at Tring Athletic with the goals coming from Connor Toomey, Kyle Anthony and Joe Gallagher.

Kings Langley’s first season in the Southern League Premier following three successive promotions begins on Saturday with a trip to Chippenham Town.

Meanwhile the first home league match is a local derby against Dunstable Town on Tuesday, August 9.
