Following last week’s outstanding performance against Slytherin FC, Chicken Kiev were expected to continue their form in to their latest encounter with Asa Foster’s Have You Got It.

Initially, it was a very close tie as the scores were level at 2-2 at the half-time whistle.

Unfortunately for Kiev, they were without the experienced Neil Spencer in midfield and his absence proved costly as Foster’s men began to thread the ball through their opponents with ease.

The 7-2 score line should not detract from what was an outstanding display from Kiev keeper, and man of the match, Paul Paprotny.

Hemel Elite were also looking to continue their recent form as they were on a run of four wins in succession, although they knew they would not have an easy game against Slytherin FC.

Sam Sambucci’s Slytherin side were keen to eradicate last week’s shock defeat from their memories and they certainly turned on the skills.

Not content with a 5-2 half-time lead, Sambucci’s men continued to attack the Elite goal, forcing several quick reaction saves from Chris Wyatt.

In the second half, Slytherin front man Darren Hewitt netted an outrageous goal from 22 yards out while team-mate and man of the match Josh Spinks completed a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, Dave Jeffreys was arguably the best man in an Elite shirt as he scored with a somewhat special half volley to continue his weekly scoring record. Slytherin ran out 12-3 winners.

Ayden Peacock’s Smack My Pitch Up flew into a 6-1 lead against ATBL, who missed some direction from absent captain Charlie Bull.

Nevertheless, ATBL played commendably, particularly Dan Hedges in midfield who supplied several sublime through-balls.

Smack My pitch Up pressed forward in the second half and man of the match Owen Wartnaby netted four goals following some clinical strikes. These all contributed to a convincing 13-4 victory for Peacock’s men.

Butterflies made it five wins in succession in the Premiership as they took on second placed AFC Lech Albans.

Lech Albans player/manager Kitt Hulse was forced to field an under-strength side and this almost certainly contributed to their 4-0 half-time deficit.

Butterflies FC skipper Marcin Maslowski was inspirational for his side, netting a hat-trick and picking up the man of the match accolade on the way to his team’s 7-2 victory.

Elsewhere, The Fellowship picked up maximum points, with Pete Nightingale standing out from the rest with two goals and an impressive stint between the posts.

Up Yours FC also picked up a win thanks to four goals from Tom Conlon, while ever-improving HH Dons looked more comfortable with their new formation and tactical keeper change; helping them to take the points on the night.

Big P FC captain Matt Armstrong gave commendable direction to his teammates on Sunday and this aided their performance throughout the game, something they will no doubt take in to forthcoming matches.
