Kings Langley let two goal lead slip
Defender Brad Hewitt had the first chance for the visiting Rebels with a misplaced header, but Kings took the lead on 14 minutes when a telling Josh Chamberlain wing pass sent Immanuelson Duku on a run to the corner flag and the frontman did well to get a low cross over from a tight angle, which Lewis Toomey blasted home from close range.
Although Xavi Comas tipped away a Gavin James header, it was all Kings, with both Toomey and Duku going close and they extended the lead on 27 minutes when Toomey ran on to a Gary Connolly through ball to guide an angled shot past Mark Scott.

Hide AdThat appeared to be game over, but Gary Hollis headed a Rebel’s corner goalwards and the head of Simon Dunn turned it past Comas to give the visitors hope.
Within three minutes that turned to belief as a a low cross from the right was drilled home through a crowded box by James Dobson.
The pendulum had now swung completely and when Emmanuel Folarin cleared off the line and Charlie Moone missed an open goal, Kings were relieved to reach the interval without further damage.
They worked hard to regain the initiative in the second half, restricting Town to two fierce long shots just wide by Dobson and Moone and they thought the tide had turned when Duku netted on the turn, only to be ruled marginally offside.

Worse was to follow, as Langley were finally undone by another set piece, Charlie Moone heading home a raking crossfield free kick from James Dobson to complete the turnaround and leave Kings with plenty of questions to ponder.
