Tudors fans are being encouraged to get swept up in the magic of the FA Cup on Saturday in order to make the first round trip to Bury truly a day to remember.

The BBC is hoping to make the first round as interactive as possible for fans up and down the country as FA Cup fever sweeps the nation.

The broadcasting company will provide extensive coverage of this season’s competition from the first round onwards – the first time it has held the TV rights for the cup since 2008.

To celebrate this, the BBC is encouraging fans of every club to send in user generated content on social media; recording their day in the FA Cup first round using the hashtags #getcarriedaway and #bbcfacup.

Teams and their backroom staff are also being urged to record behind the scenes material from the day on their personal social media accounts, while the winners, teams and the fans are asked to pose with round 2 draw numbers and #getcarriedaway ahead of the second round draw.

The Tudors are entering the first found proper for the first time in nearly eight decades, and Dean Brennan’s men will be looking to cause an upset against their League Two opponents.

Live Twitter updates from the game will be available via Gazette sports editor Adam Hull @Gaz_Sport
