Hemel FC played host to some incredible football once again this week, including a scintillating comeback by Asa Foster’s Have You Got It.

Foster’s men, who were second in the Championship ahead of Sunday’s fixtures, found themselves 6-2 behind to Charlie Bull’s ATBL in the second half of the match.

ATBL had simply dominated play up to that point with on-form George Hoar netting a superb hat-trick for the lads in blue.

While it was unexpected, Foster rallied his men late on and together they found the courage to battle back, playing some sublime football.

Have You Got It have their captain to thank as he was not only inspirational going forward, but he also scored four of his team’s goals with some truly clinical finishing; the match finishing in a very fair 6-6 draw.

Mid-table Championship side Up Yours FC gained a crucial win over Chicken Kiev to keep them out of the drop zone with just a handful of fixtures remaining in the current season.

Kiev, who are without a win since their epic defeat of the current table toppers, this week looked a shade of the impressive side on display for that game.

By contrast, Martin Gorman’s team were firing on all cylinders and they had an enviable strike success rate from start to finish.

Up Yours FC had already established an eight-goal lead by half-time and, despite some fine goalkeeping by Kiev stopper Paul Paprotny, he could not prevent an outstanding performance from Up Yours striker Chris Blunden.

The hot-shot forward picked up the man of the match accolade, following his eight goal tally.

Jake Spencer’s Kiev did look sharper in the second half but they weren’t able to overturn the deficit.

Slytherin FC, who remain at the top of the Championship, demonstrated why they have held the top spot for so long as they eased to victory over Ayden Peacock’s Smack My Pitch Up.

It was a great overall performance from the team, lead by Sam Sambucci, which contributed to a resounding 15-4 win.

Slytherin’s keeper Callum Mackie was awarded the man of the match award for some truly inspirational saves, while skipper Sambucci netted a sensational 12 goals in the game - beating his previous individual tally of goals in a single game.

Now five points clear of second placed Have You Got It, the title would already seem wrapped up, although mathematically at least Foster’s men are still in contention.

Dominic Turburville’s HH Dons have been improving steadily in recent weeks, however their latest fixture which saw them host The Fellowship was always going to be a tough game against the Premiership leaders.

Andy Jeffrey’s side quickly developed a 6-0 lead in the game and for Turburville’s lads it became apparent that this match would be a case of damage limitation for them.

The Fellowship welcomed back Joe Whitbread from a long absence and he certainly had an impact on the game with numerous acute passing moves and a hat-trick to top off a well deserved man of the match award.

Jack Forshaw also scored three for the lads in red, contributing to a comfortable 15-2 victory.

Elsewhere, there were victories for second-placed AFC Lech Albans and third-placed Butterflies FC, with Max Parsons and Marcin Maslowski gaining respective man of the match awards.

Next Sunday, Hemel FC will host a top of the table clash in the Premiership as The Fellowship play AFC Lech Albans, in what could be a dramatic title decider.

In the Championship, match of the week is between Hemel Elite and Have You Got It as the experienced sides contend for the coveted runners-up position.
