Clarke, 23, went into the competition high on confidence following recent victories in Croatia and Hungary, and there was no stopping the sharp-shooter as he completed an historic hat-trick of wins.

Speaking after the event, Clarke told the Gazette: “Winning in Turkey was a special feeling – all the players that took part in the final stage were fantastic towards me, my UK team-mates as well as players from the other countries.

“It was a special a moment, and an achievement I’ll always be proud of.”

The Turkish event brought a close to the 2015 season, with Clarke finishing the campaign ranked second in both the UK and Europe – with the Footgolf World Cup in Argentina on the horizon.

“With the season now being over my main aim and focus is to prepare for the World Cup in January, to try to get as much practice in as I can at different courses,” said hot-sot Clarke.

“There will be an individual and team event held across the week. Myself and Team UK will be going in to this with confidence; we were crowned European champions this year so we are hoping to carry that form in to January on the world stage.”

Looking further ahead, the ever-ambitious Clarke said: “My aims for the future are to carry on making progress and to improve my game, as well as ranking positions.

“After a successful year, I’m hoping to carry on from where I left off - there’s no doubt 2016 will be an exciting year for myself and FootGolf.”
