At the time the Gazette went to press, the Tudors were eagerly gearing up for the clash, following a 0-0 draw at Nuneaton on Saturday – with the winners set to meet (TEAM) in the first round proper.
Nuneaton made a bright start to the game on Saturday and almost went in front after three minutes when Jack Dyer crashed a long range effort against the post.

Hide AdBen Hutchinson also came close on a couple of occasions for the hosts, but as the half wore on, Hemel started to gain a foothold in the match against their Conference Premier opponents.
Clear chances were few and far between, with both sides knowing that a place in the first round of the world’s most famous cup competition was up for grabs.
Both sides were battling hard, and a chance fell to Nuneaton in the 68th minute when Craig Curran met Ben Hutchinson’s flick-on, but Tudors keeper Laurie Walker kept the effort out.
Minutes later, James Wren was called into action at the other end, superbly tipping a fierce Luke Allen shot over the bar.
The Tudors finished the game strongly and forced a succession of corners late on, but they could not find a way to break the deadlock and game ended all square.
