Allinson is upset by slow starts as Hemel lose at Salisbury
Lee Allinson says his Hemel Hempstead Town side need to start games better after they fell to their second straight defeat on Saturday.
The 1-0 loss at Salisbury was the first time this season Hemel have lost two on the bounce, Noah Coppin with the hosts goal in the 11th minute, moments after Millar Matthews-Lewis had seen a goal ruled out for offside at the other end.

And Allinson feels there is work to be done given the manner in which the game was lost.
He told the club’s media: “It’s a frustrating one. I won’t hide behind the fact the way we are starting games at the moment isn’t good enough. I wasn’t happy with the first-half – sometimes you don’t have any divine right to just come here and play football but we know what we’re like in the second-half.
"We have a goal disallowed and then a minute later we’ve given away an absolutely scandalous goal from our point of view.
"It’s not good enough as a group and we’ve had a long discussion in the dressing room about maybe needing to change the warm-up slightly, or look at a few different things because we’re not starting games well enough.
"In the second-half I thought we were magnificent and we’ve done everything but put the ball in the net. We’ve had more chances today than we did at Tonbridge last week and on Tuesday night but their keeper has kept them in the game.
“I think Salisbury have had one shot in 90 minutes and then obviously two counters at the end of the game where one’s hit the post after we’d thrown everything forward.
"But because of how we’ve started the game, and because of the first-half performance, we’ve lost the game and that has to be improved really quickly.”
