Allinson hails ‘point gained’ for Hemel against Maidenhead
Lee Allinson felt it was a valuable point gained on Saturday as Hemel Hempstead drew 0-0 at home to Maidenhead United.
After three defeats in a row, Hemel were looking to rediscover some form to keep themselves in the play-off places.

And although neither side was able to break down the respective defences, Allinson was happy enough to have ended the poor run.
He told the club’s media: "It’s a point gained, definitely, to stop the rot which is really positive.
"I thought the boys were absolutely magnificent and have given absolutely everything for this football club today.
"They’ve left nothing out there on the pitch, they’ve defended their box brilliantly well and we looked very comfortable in the game.
"I don’t think Michael Johnson’s had a shot to save and their keeper’s pulled off a great save after a minute, plus we’ve seen the penalty incident back and we should have had one and it should have been a red card.
"A lot’s going to be said about the fact we haven’t scored again but we’ve played two shapes today, a 4-2-3-1 and a 3-5-2 and I think with the latter we looked very good in the second-half, but I thought with the 4-2-3-1 we created chances as well.
"Nothing’s falling at the moment. Had a goal gone in it’s a different game but you have no divine right to score or beat anyone in this league.
"I spoke to their manager before the game and he’s telling us how hard it is compared to the National League last year – it's such a difficult, physical league.
"We’ve just played Maidenhead who were in the National League last year and have a lot of National League players, and we’ve more than held our own.
"They’re full-time, we’re part-time, we had players stuck in traffic today because the roads are a nightmare and I have to give the players enormous credit that we're still in the play-offs.
"I think we’re going great guns and the goals will come back. If they don’t, it’s on me to go and get the one or two reinforcements we need to score goals and I’ll do that, but I’m not going to move until the right players become available."
Hemel now prepare to go to Chesham United on Boxing Day before then hosting Enfield Town on Tuesday night.
