Fay joins the RFU council after impressing at Twickenham
Fay was selected as one of the top 50 applicants from over 400, along with Dan Peplow, to attend an assessment day at Twickenham Stadium.
The applicants took part in three assessment sessions covering decision making, team work and a personal interview.

Hide Ad“I applied as I wanted to be involved in as many areas of rugby as possible, not just playing,” said Fay.
“I also feel that the way TringRugby is structured at the moment works really well and should be replicated across other teams throughout the country.
“I hope the role will help me develop my leadership and teamwork skills. I am also hoping it will develop my understanding of rugby as a whole and I can have a say in how rugby is structured across the country.”
Meanwhile, TringRugby will be holding girls’ and ladies’ rugby taster sessions this month.

Hide AdLucie Monk, who plays regularly and went to school at Ashlyns, will run the proposed ladies’ section with assistance from Melanie Liley, the club’s RFU development officer.
The taster sessions will run at Cow Lane on September 14 and 21, from 1.30pm until 3pm for ladies and girls from U13 upwards.
