Falcons star Salas bags awards hat-trick

Project COBB published the 2014 National Baseball League award winners in the various categories and Salas scooped up all three of the coveted Most Valuable Player awards.

These are the most prestigious prizes awarded to individual players and are the equivalent of MLB’s MVP and Cy Young Awards.

Salas was crowned Most Valuable Batter, Most Valuable Pitcher and Best Two-Way player.

Falsons’ Ryan Hackel, meanwhile, was named as the best shortstop in the NBL this season after an impressive arrival at the club at the end of May.
