Beth battles to gold at international championship
Bury Judo Club's Beth O'Connor fought in the 16-18 kyu grades at the Southend International championships winning all her contest to take the gold.
She then fought in an open category with Dan grades and won a bronze.
Ben Atkinson fought in the male kyu grades taking a well deserved bronze.
This follows 17 medals won by the club in Oxford.
