Philly Lowe, a Dacorum and Tring athlete participated at the prestigious metting which doubled up as the Olympic trials.

She ran in the first heat where she had Ese Okoro (seeded to win the heat) in the lane outside her. Philly ran really well to pass Ese by 200m and went on to win the heat in 58.8 seconds.

This sent her through to the final with the third fastest time.

Her run in the final went well and Philly was in fourth place until just after seventh hurdle when she stumbled and lost precious metres.

She fought back well coming up the home straight to finish fifth. The race was won by Olympic bound Eilidh Doyle.
