Ambitious Hemel Stags appoint full-time community manager
Hemel Stags have announced the appointment of 25-year-old Mike Stewart as full-time community manager at the club.
Stewart has spent the past three years as head of youth rugby at the University of Gloucestershire All Golds, where he was responsible for co-ordinating schools’ rugby league in Gloucestershire and Bristol.
Stewart also managed and coached the All Golds U19 Academy and, prior to joining the University of Gloucestershire, worked in the community departments of both Dewsbury Rams and Bradford Bulls.
Among Stewart’s initial priorities will be to re-invigorate the junior and youth player pathway at Hemel and to create greater awareness of the Stags in the borough of Dacorum.
