New dates and venues for Enter Shikari tour

Enter Shikari, due to hit the road at the end of this year, have rescheduled their Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible UK tour for next year.

The band claimed number two in the UK charts earlier this year with their sixth studio album Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible, released through So Recording.

Enter Shikari are a British rock band formed in St Albans in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe.

In 2003 guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete the current line-up and adopted its current name.

In 2006 they performed at Download Festival.

Debut studio album Take to the Skies was released in 2007 to reach number four in Official UK Album Charts.

Frontman Rou said: “We’re gutted to have to reschedule all our shows to 2021.

“This means we won’t be stepping on a stage in 2020 whatsoever.

“This is agonising. I’m already climbing the walls and we’re only half way through.

“I suppose it just means more time to work on these shows and make them extra special for when they finally come along.

“Ally Pally now falling on a Saturday in summer means we’ll certainly be looking at ways to make that more of an event.

“Thank you to everyone who’s bought a ticket, the response has been amazing even with everything going on, but now the main priority is everybody’s wellbeing. “

All tickets previously bought for original dates are valid for the rescheduled shows. In the case of Rock City, Nottingham where the band are playing two nights tickets for the original first night, November 19 will be valid for the rescheduled first night May 13 2021 and November 20 tickets valid for May 14 2021.
