A traditional nativity was performed by nursery and reception children from St Mary’s CE Primary School in Northchurch, with shepherds and dancing angels gathering to welcome baby Jesus.

Another traditional tale was put on by Bovingdon Primary Academy’s foundation stage and Key Stage 1 children. Teacher Jenna Derbyshire said: “The pupils worked incredibly hard to put on an outstanding production of ‘The Nativity’ – a big well done!”
