Who says shopping isn’t charitable?

A shopping site which helps internet surfers donate to charity whenever they buy online has received backing from Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning.

Mr Penning showed his support for newly-launched Care2Save.co.uk at a Westminster event, highlighting the unique charity which provides a new income stream for hospices and charities in Dacorum and throughout the UK.

It is the only charity owned and run shopping website that gives 100% of the money that it makes through commission directly to the charity sector.

Mr Penning said: “It was great to attend the Care2Save event and to support care2save.co.uk. This is an easy and straightforward way to raise funds for our local hospices – and in fact for all local charities this Christmas.”

The site offers more than 12 million products from 2,000 UK-based retailers, making it a one-stop shop for Christmas shopping whilst giving commission from all purchases to charity.
