UPDATED: Body found in ditch

Police were called at 6.47am after the discovery was made by a member of the public on Tring Road, Northchurch.

Police closed the road at the junction with Hamberlins Lane while an investigation took place, but re-opened it to traffic just after 10.45am.

Officers have recorded the death as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Buses serving that route were diverted up onto the A41 at Tring and back down on to Kings Road in Berkhamsted while the road closure was in place.

Normal routes will now resume.
