Motorcyclist taken to hospital after colliding with 'road furniture' in Hemel Hempstead

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after colliding with 'road furniture' in Hemel Hempstead yesterday morning (Monday, April 5).

Police were called at 6.20am on to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A414 Breakspear Way.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "A black Triumph motorcycle had collided with road furniture.

"Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended and the rider, a man, was taken to hospital to be assessed for a leg injury.

"The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene. The road was reopened by 9am."
