The festival runs from today, Wednesday, to Sunday, October 23, at The Crown in High Street, Berkhamsted, and The Full House in The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead.

Each of the beers has been brewed using only British hop varieties, including Fuggles, Challenger, Sovereign and Phoenix.

All of the beers, including those from the overseas brewers, have been brewed in the UK, and the majority have been brewed for the first time, exclusively for the festival.

The UK beers include Warrior Queen (Tring) Hip Hop Hooray (Cotleigh), Hope & Glory (Roosters), Coffee Milk Stout (Arundel), Old Crafty Hen (Greene King) and Return from the Ashes (RCH).

Customers can sample any three of the real ales in special third-of-a-pint glasses for the price of a pint, and tasting notes on all of the beers will be available in each of the pubs.

All beers are priced from £2.19 to £2.49 a pint.
