Rider injured '˜after bus spooks horse'
A horse rider was injured after her horse was spooked by a vintage bus, say police.
The incident happened on the A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road to St Albans at 12.10pm yesterday (Sunday, January 24).
A spokesman for Herts Police said it is believed the animal was spooked by the vehicle, causing it to rear up and leading the rider to fall to the ground.
An ambulance officer was called to the scene, who assessed the girl and found she had minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.
The incident was dealt with by 12.51pm.
