Race director hails '˜slick and successful' second Berkhamsted Triathlon
Triathletes completed 16 lengths of the Knox Johnston Sports Centre pool before cycling a loop of 20km and then running 8km to the finish line.
It took place on Sunday morning, for only the second time, and race director Cliff King was delighted to see the event at full capacity of 200 athletes.

He said: “It was such a success. The weather was amazing, it was busy, very slick and given it was only the second one we’ve done, it went so smoothly.
“The feedback has been great and the volunteers were amazing.”
Mr King, one of only a few people in the world to be a certified Vivo Barefoot Running coach, is already looking forward to next year’s event when he hopes to increase numbers to at least 250.
He thanked all the volunteers, ‘very supportive’ Berkhamsted School for hosting and primary sponsors Knight Frank and Ashmei.
