Dacorum Borough Council by-election results: Tring Central and Leverstock Green

Results from the two Dacorum by-elections have now been declared.

The results of the Leverstock Green and Tring Central by-elections have now been counted and the results published.

Neil Harden (Conservative) has been elected as a councillor for the Leverstock Green ward.

Sheron Wilkie (Liberal Democrats) has been elected as a councillor for the Tring Central ward.

Here's a breakdown of the election results for each ward:

Leverstock Green:

Elected - Neil Harden (Conservative) 1,459 votes

Ijlal Malik (Labour) 470 votes

Anna Wellings Purvis (Liberal Democrats) 298 votes

Sherief Hassan (Green Party) 185 votes.

Cllr Neil Harden said: "I am deeply honoured to have been elected to represent all the residents of Leverstock Green."

Tring Central:

Elected - Sheron Wilkie (Liberal Democrats) 925 votes

Joseph Vardon-Hynard (Conservative) 438 votes

Joe Stopps (Green Party) 172 votes

Jim Lawler (Labour) 137 votes.
