Pets Need Places: Adorable Barclay and Anca are not just for Christmas!
Rescue centre manager Sara Muncke said: “We would also like to express our gratitude all the people of Tring, Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead for their interest and generosity as well as coming forward to offer the chance of a new life to a dog that has perhaps had very little care or happiness before.
“We have lots of dogs of different shapes, sizes and ages hoping that the new year will bring them their opportunity of a new home so we would welcome people to meet our rescue and rehoming team and to see if their dream dog is waiting to meet them.”

The Chilterns Dog Rescue centre will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, as well as Wednesdays as normal.
Cats Protection Dacorum has closed its branch for adoptions only from Monday, December 16 until January 5.
This is because – like other animal charities – it chooses not to home cats and kittens as Christmas presents due to the high risk of them being returned unwanted shortly afterwards.
