Tring Yarn Bomb thanks the public

The chairman of Tring Yarn Bomb has thanked the public after a stolen installation created by the group was returned.

John J. Cole-Morgan posted on the group's Instagram page on Saturday after parts of the installation were stolen from Church Square in Tring High Street during the night, but by Sunday morning, it had been returned to Tring Church, Saint Peter and Saint Paul.

He said: "I posted on social media and we had the most incredible response, £1,950 in donations made.

"If that wasn’t amazing enough, most of the stolen installation was returned on Sunday morning.

"It's great that we have raised so much money for the charities."

Tring Yarn Bomb are raising money for Rennie Grove Hospice, St Francis Hospice, Save the Children and Hector’s House.
