Tea for silver-haired citizens

Home Instead Senior Care, which provides care to older people in their own homes, is marking ‘Silver Sunday’ on October 5 with a variety of free activities for the over 65s.

The event, from 3pm to 5pm at the Grovehill Community Centre, will offer visitors the chance to overcome loneliness and try new things, including a chair aerobics demonstration by Sportspace.

Age UK, the National Osteoporosis Society, Dacorum Borough Council, Better Mobility and the fire and police services will also offer advice.
