Redbourn man among gang charged with nearly 40 burglaries in four-month period across Hertfordshire
A Redbourn man is among a gang who have been charged with a series of nearly 40 burglaries across Hertfordshire.
Shay Hollis, 22, of Brache Close in Redbourn has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary of a dwelling, conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, driving and insurance-related offences.

Hertfordshire Police say the charges are in connection with nearly 40 burglaries across the county between December 2025 and March 2026, when more than 30 vehicles of ‘high-value’ were stolen.
Patrick Peters, 29, of Withers Mead in London, Archie Lucas, 19, of Buckingham Road, Borehamwood and Joshua Fallon, 25, of Thieves Lane in Hertford were all charged with conspiracy to commit burglary of a dwelling and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.
All were remanded to prison and are due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on April 16, apart from Lucas, who was granted bail by magistrates.
A fifth man, Darren Arnold, aged 30, of Westcroft Close in London, had previously been charged and remanded to prison in connection with the investigation.
Detective Constable Edward Law from Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Dwelling burglary is one of our main priorities and can have a devastating effect on victims.
“We are constantly monitoring the county’s roads to detect criminals coming into Hertfordshire from other areas to commit burglary and other crimes, and we will relentlessly pursue them until they are brought to justice.”
