'Raise a Rainbow' wellbeing appeal launched to support hospital staff and patients in west Hertfordshire

A new appeal to support the wellbeing of staff and patients has been launched by Raise, the charity supporting West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT).
Money raised in the Raise a Rainbow appeal will will enable the charity to provide extra comforts to patients and wellbeing support to staff.

Hide AdRaise a Rainbow aims to deliver extra care and support for patients and their loved-ones during this challenging time.
Hospital staff have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic providing great care for every patient, every day. This appeal will provide spaces for rest, relaxation and respite for the hardworking heroes.
ICU matron, Vicky Houghton, said: “Community donations are invaluable and so important to our charity.
"It enables us to give support where it is most needed and helps our staff and patients during what is an unprecedented time.”

Hide AdRaise is working with the local community across west Hertfordshire to provide support through donations and services.
Raise a Rainbow will help patients and staff across all the WHHT sites by providing wellbeing support and spaces of sanctuary.
Raise’s charity director, Sofia Sheikh, said: “We are pleased to launch Raise a Rainbow as it will help relieve the pressures the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our patients and dedicated staff.
"We’re immensely grateful for the support we receive from our local community. ”
