Already over 1,300 new users have registered on HOP, the county’s premier gateway connecting young people to future employment, apprenticeship and training opportunities.

The push is on to reach the target of 1,500 new registrations before the competition closes.

The school or youth group with the most individual registrations on HOP will be awarded £3,000 to spend on careers education resources.

The prize will be presented in person on Thursday, July 15, by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ and Chair of the LEP’s Skills and Employment Board and Chair, Stevenage Development Board Adrian Hawkins OBE.

Adrian Hawkins OBE said: “This competition presents a fantastic opportunity to signpost young people to available sources of advice and support on our skills portal. Where there is HOP, there is HOPE!”

The competition is open to all state secondary schools and youth groups with students or individuals registered on the HOP website. The judge’s decision is final.
