In most cases doors were tried but no entry gained and nothing taken, in some cases catalytic converters were removed and stolen.

Officers are urging people to remove all valuables from their vehicle and lock and secure it when they leave it unattended, even if they park on a driveway.

Most thieves are opportunists and will move on if the doors are locked and they cannot see any items left in the car.
