Multiple arrests made as part of operation to tackle acquisitive crime across Hertfordshire
Police have made multiple arrests across Hertfordshire as part of a three-day operation focusing on acquisitive crime.
The operation, between February 3 and 5, saw arrests for drugs offences and vehicles seized, as officers carried out targeted patrols in the evenings and early hours.

Four people were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, while drugs valued at £8,000 and a large quantity of cash were seized.
Arrests were made for suspected drug driving, immigration offences and failing to appear at court.
Four Community Resolutions were issued for possession of cannabis, while 17 Stop and Searches were completed.
During vehicle checks, six vehicles were seized and the drivers reported for not having insurance.
A stolen vehicle was recovered, a further vehicle was seized for being used in crime, and a vehicle was recovered for obstructing the highway after failing to stop for officers.
PC Joe Geeson from the neighbourhood policing team, who coordinated the operation said: “The aim of the operation was to target those involved in serious and acquisitive crime, such as vehicle theft, burglary and drug supply, as we know that these kinds of offences cause concern among the community.
“Whether or not we are running a specific police operation, local teams are regularly patrolling, doing all they can to prevent crime and identify offenders.”
