Missing Berkhamsted man tragically found dead by police

Officers have confirmed that a man who had been reported missing from Berkhamsted last week has sadly passed away.

Keith Shaw, 68, was last seen on Wednesday evening (20 May).

He was discovered locally on Friday afternoon (22 May).

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Police are now in a position to confirm that a man who had been reported missing from Berkhamsted last week has sadly passed away

"The death is being treated as non-suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.

"His family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time."
