During the current lockdown public worship has been suspended

Boxmoor Parish has announced that St John's Church and St Francis' Church in Hemel Hempstead will reopen for public worship this weekend - if coronavirus cases in the area continue to decline.

During the current lockdown, public worship has been suspended in Boxmoor Parish, but St John’s Church has been open throughout for private individual worship.

Providing coronavirus case numbers in the area continue to fall, St John's the Evangelist, in Boxmoor, and Saint Francis of Assisi Church, in Hammerfield, will reopen for public worship on Passion Sunday (March 21).

It is hoped that St Stephen’s, Chaulden, will reopen shortly afterwards.

A full schedule of Passiontide, Easter and Holy Week services is planned, for more details click here.
