A woman from Hemel Hempstead who filled her front garden with Christmas lights to spread some festive cheer has raised over £100 for charity,

Stephanie Lee, who lights up her garden in Bartel Close, Leverstock Green, every year, wanted to raise money to support the Leverstock Green Village Association.

Today (Tuesday), Stephanie donated £160 to The Leverstock Green Village Association Charity - the voluntary group and charity seeks to promote and protect the interests of residents and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time.

Stephanie said: "A huge thank you to everyone that donated to this very worthy charity who do so much work for this community, they really are the hub of the village and we'd be lost without them.

"I am already planning bigger and better things for next years lights and hoping we all have a better and safer year."
