Hemel Hempstead Swim-With-Me teacher honoured with national ambassador role

A swimming teacher with Swim-With-Me Ltd in Hemel Hempstead has been appointed a Brand Ambassador in recognition of her commitment and service to the aquatics industry.

Tracie Jack was recently honoured by the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA), a national governing body for swimming.

STA is also an international charity dedicated to the preservation of human life through the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques, and in this new voluntary ambassador role, Tracie will be working to support these objectives.

She will use her experience and knowledge to offer assistance to the organisation’s new and existing 12,000 + members and swim school partners.

Tracie is one of 52 Brand Ambassadors appointed by STA from hundreds of applications, received.

She said: “I’m very proud to be appointed an Ambassador for my national governing body and to be in a position to help make a difference.

"As ambassadors we have been given the opportunity, and the communications channel, to feedback the information we receive at a local level from the aquatic community, and relay this right through to the top of the STA.

"This line of communication and support network is all the more important at this critical time too with COVID-19, as the leisure market has been one of the hardest to be hit by the pandemic.”

Swim-With-Me Ltd is a Gold Accredited Swim School working out of Hertfordshire, Colchester, and London and has been established since 2003.

The swim school is headed by Tracie and her husband and was created through their passion to teach and their love of children.

With six children of their own, they knew only too well the importance for children to learn to swim and be safe around water and decided that they wanted to help as much as possible.

Since opening the swim school they have themselves become tutors for the training of swimming instructors and so it is a great honour now for Tracie to be chosen as a brand ambassador.
