Hemel Hempstead Celebrant crowned industry winner in international awards

A Celebrant from Hemel Hempstead has been crowned the industry winner in the 2021 The Celebrant Industry Awards (TCIA).

Alison Ann, who is a Family Celebrant covering Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Greater London, won two of the awards for which she was nominated for.

She was crowned as 'Best National Celebrant - Weddings' and 'Global Celebrant of the Year 2021.'

The very first Celebrant Industry Awards was held virtually as it live streamed on Facebook with over 56 finalists attending via Zoom to see who would be revealed as industry winners across weddings, funerals, naming and vow renewal professions.

Celebrants from all over the world were nominated and judged by wedding and funeral professionals.

Alison said: “I am absolutely blown away. To be nominated by my clients and peers and acknowledged for my service to the industry is such a wonderful feeling. I am so grateful.”

The event was hosted by founder of The Celebrant Directory - sponsor of the awards - Jennifer Constant.

Since achieving a national qualification in Celebrancy, Alison Ann has become the preferred celebrant with several prestigious wedding venues and wedding planners throughout Hertfordshire.

Highly sought after by couples wanting a more personalised ceremony, she excels in her ability to write and conduct ceremonies that are centred around the individual needs and personalities of her clients.

Alison Ann will be acting as officiant for the wedding of “Strictly Come Dancing’s” Craig Revel Horwood and Johnathan Myring in 2023.
