Kerry Mccarthy, the budgies belong to her niece, said: "My niece is called Demi McCarthy they are her birds, and my nephew Miley, who is seven, was trying to help capture them by calling their names, he’s very upset as he loved the birds.

"My niece spotted them in a near by tree and started to play budgie sounds from her phone and they did both start to fly down nearer to her but not close enough to be captured, they then both flew into Hobbs Hill Wood Primary School and that was the last known sighting.

"If anyone has seen them please contact Demi Montana MaggieMae Mccarthy on Facebook."
