Final High Court injunction refuses occupation and development of Flamstead land that was subject of dispute
A High Court injunction has been granted in relation to land in Flamstead that was the subject of a dispute in April.
Residential occupation and development of the land, located on Friendless Lane in the village, is now prohibited under the ruling.

An interim injunction prohibiting unauthorised works or use of the site was granted in court on Sunday April 5, in response to an application by Dacorum Borough Council.
The injunction banned further development on the land, the bringing of further caravans on to the site, the installation or connection of services and the occupation of the land.
This followed reports of threatening behaviour, criminal damage, road traffic offences and illegal felling of trees, between April 3 and 6, on the site, which was reportedly started by work involving unauthorised hardcore being laid on privately owned land.
At further hearings in April and May the court ruled that the injunction should stay in place, and it has now issued a final verdict in relation to the site.
In a statement following the granting of the final injunction in relation to the site Dacorum Borough Council said: “The council is currently reviewing the implications of the judgment and will consider any necessary next steps arising from the court's decision.”
