Dacorum Borough Council has joined the rest of the county during Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020 (HYOC2020) and is showcasing creativity and cultural opportunities across the borough.
A brand-new, animated event celebrating people within Hertfordshire has been created as part of HYOC2020.

Hide AdFunded by Arts Council England and supported by the Hertfordshire districts of Dacorum, Three Rivers and Watford, Seek & Hide is a virtual performance combining animation, contemporary dance, and music, led by professional artists.
Free to participate, Seek & Hide is open to people of all ages - children should be accompanied.
Many of the planned events have been forced to take place virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. With Seek & Hide, developed by specialist dance agency, BEEE Creative, and KAN Collective, Hertfordshire residents can release their creative side from the comfort of their own home.
Combining animations with dance, participants will get the chance to create drawings and bring them to life as part of a multi-media installation with support from professional artists.

With final animation workshop dates in July and dance workshops in September/October, Seek & Hide will culminate in a performance in November to celebrate the people of Hertfordshire.
BEEE Creative is a strong advocate of dance in schools and the community, working with partners and wider infrastructures to bring dance to a broad range of communities, with an emphasis on physical, social, intellectual and emotional well-being.
