Consultation deadline extended for Dacorum's Local Plan

Dacorum Borough Council has extended the deadline for the consultation on Dacorum's Local Plan, so more residents can have their say on the plans.

On November 27, the council launched the consultation on the Emerging Strategy for Growth – the next step to creating the new Dacorum Local Plan 2020-2038, and would like as many people as possible to have their say in the consultation.

In view of this, the deadline for feedback in the consultation has been extended until 11.59pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Dacorum Borough Council will be sending all Dacorum households a copy of the Emerging Strategy for Growth summary document.

The summary gives an overview of the Local Plan and information about how to participate in the consultation.

Details about how to take part in the consultation and supporting information, including the Emerging Strategy for Growth, summary document and video are available on the council’s website and consultation portal: consult.dacorum.gov.uk/kse.

The Council’s Emerging Strategy for Growth virtual exhibition can be viewed here.

Visitors to the virtual exhibition can ask questions via the 'leave a message' function. Please note any comments made via 'leave a message' will not be considered as official responses to the consultation and will not be made public.

Hard copies of the Emerging Strategy for Growth are available to loan, using the reservation service, from Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring libraries.
