DENS are inviting the people of Dacorum to bring their friends, family and colleagues together for a special week of celebrations to help the charity support the homeless across the borough.

Go Yellow for DENS Week takes place between Monday, June 21, and Sunday, June 27, and is an opportunity for the community to get creative and have fun, while also helping to raise awareness of the charity and the vital services it provides to those most vulnerable within Dacorum.

There are plenty of fun ways to celebrate, and anything goes during Go Yellow Week. Ideas for those getting involved include wearing yellow clothes and accessories, decorating a home, venue or office yellow or baking yellow cakes.

The funds raised from Go Yellow Week will help towards families and individuals across Dacorum facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion to take the next positive step in their lives.

During the campaign, DENS will have a strong presence at Hemel Hempstead’s iconic The Marlowes shopping centre, which recently chose DENS as its Charity of the Year.

A number of shops will be decorating their window displays yellow and collecting donations throughout the week. The charity will also station an eye-catching yellow DENS gazebo outside the centre on Friday 25th June, where they will be promoting their services and upcoming events, while promising extra surprises on the day.
