Pedestrian injured in three-car crash
A pedestrian was injured in a collision between three vehicles on London Road in Tring this morning (Monday, December 7).
Paramedics were called to the incident, which is believed to have happened near to the pedstrian crossing island just past both Dunsley Farm and Tesco, at around 8.30am.
A white BMW 3 Series, a silver VW Golf and a silver Mercedes Sprinter van were involved.
A spokesman for Herts Police said two bollards had been hit in the collision and that Highways had been made aware of the damage.
They said the road was blocked while the emergency services dealt with the incident, but the BMW was recovered and the road cleared by 10am.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said that a person was taken to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital, but at this stage it is not clear whether their injuries are serious.
More on this as we get it.
