What is your favourite food?

Carrots!

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

Denis by Deborah Harry. The track is a cover of the 1963 Randy & The Raibows hit which was re-released by Harry’s American New Wave band Blondie in 1978, reaching number 2 in the UK charts.

Favourite quote?

Carpe Diem – seize the day – a Latin aphorism taken from a poem in the Odes (book 1, number 11) in 23 BC by the poet Horace.

What is your Favourite thing to do to relax?

Go running.

What is the one Thing you hate the most?

Selfish party leaders picking on others without attending to policies which might help the world

If you could have 5 famous people for dinner – past or present – who would you pick and why?

Russell Brand, Oliver Cromwell, Amy Winehouse, Pablo Picasso and Stephen Fry. Brand and Fry for their conversations. Cromwell, Winehouse and Picasso because I admire them so much. Also I would have really have been kind to Amy Winehouse in some way.

If you knew the world was ending in 2014, what would you do differently?

I can’t even think of the awful horrible event.

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

Future event: The United Nations becoming powerful enough to police the humans destroying the world. If the nations don’t combine to make a force for good NOW then all life on the planet is finished.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Aged seven I was convinced I could dig a tunnel from my back garden to the school playground so I could emerge and surprise my mates – and the walk home again after school – all of seven miles. That changed to being a photographer, which I still am!

What was the last film you watched?

Gotham on the TV. Brilliant.
Gotham is an American crime television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters appearing in and published by DC Comics in their Batman franchise

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

Departing from people and animals who die.

What’s the best or worst gift you have ever given or received?

The best present was a motorcycle from my parents to start work as a newspaper photographer aged 17. The worst gift that could be given to me is sweets. I hate sweets, candies, chocolate stuff.

How would you like to be remembered?

What is your favourite thing to do or place to visit in Dacorum?

Running on the canal and the hills around Hemel Hempstead.
