Becca Choules is a reporter on the Bucks Herald, the Gazette’s sister paper in Aylesbury, but still writes for the Gazette occasionally because she has lived in Tring all her life.

What is your favourite food?

I know it’s a cliche, but I’m a self-confessed chocoholic. I couldn’t live without the stuff.

What’s the most played song on your iPod?

I love Taylor Swift’s latest album, so I guess it would have to be one of those songs. I’ve also just discovered Jake Bugg. Late to the party, I know!

Favourite thing to do to relax?

Enjoy dinner and wine with my girl friends, or curling up with my cat and a good book.

What is the one thing you hate the most?

Rudeness. It costs nothing to be polite. I think it takes a lot more effort to be grumpy!

If you could have 5 famous people for dinner – past or present – who would you pick and why?

1. Jamie Oliver - so he could cook!

2. Leonardo Di Caprio - for obvious reasons...

What was the last film you watched?

Kingsman: Secret Service, the one with Colin Firth in. Very funny!

If you knew the world was ending in 2015, what would you do differently?

Spend more time with my friends and family. It sounds cheesy, but nothing else matters when it comes down to it.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

First it was a vet, then it was a writer/author. I guess a reporter isn’t too far off!

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be and why?

The signing of the Treaty of Versailles that signified the end of the Second World War, because so many innocent lives were lost.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

The 18-mile Rennie Grove Three Peaks challenge last year. I’m not sporty at all, so it was a real test.

What’s the best or worst gift you have ever given or received?

I gave my little sister a personalised Tiffany necklace for her 18th birthday, because her name is Tiffany! The look on her face when she opened it was priceless.

How would you like to be remembered?

As a good person.

What is your favourite thing to do or place to visit in Dacorum?

I have a soft spot for Boxmoor in Hemel as much of my childhood was spent there with my grandparents. Walking on the moor brings back happy memories.
