Crowds turn out to do battle in annual Conker Festival
Crowds turned out to do battle once again with conkers at the Box Moor Trust’s ever-popular event.
The tournament was, as ever, hotly contested with the junior final won by 10 year old Billy Reed-Hook and Philo Knapp emerging victorious in the adults contest on Sunday, October 19.
The day before the trust hosted its Wood, Wool and Food Festival on Blackbirds Moor, with freshly-made produce and demonstrations on offer.
