They’re not looking for people with advanced technical skills, but experienced users who would be able to pass on top tips about how to make the best of what new technology has to offer and give those who might not be so comfortable with computers the confidence to have a go.

The charity, which runs affordable courses in community centres in Hemel Hempstead and Tring, is struggling to cater for the many people wanting to learn about their new iPad or tablet.

IT volunteers are needed to work alongside tutors and should be proficient in using Skype, email and the internet.

Kids Count is a youth-led charity that offers the opportunity to volunteer with like-minded young people who have a desire to influence change in their community. Volunteers should be between 15 and 25.

Volunteer Centre Dacorum

A volunteer with charity finance experience is required to take a strategic role on our Board of Trustees.

Our charity supports more than 470 other local groups to find the volunteers they need to keep vital services running.

During the last decade we helped over 10,700 people of all ages, abilities and walks of life to become volunteers.

The new Treasurer/Finance Director will work with the Chief Executive in preparing budgets and reports for quarterly board meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

Meetings are usually weekday evenings in central Hemel. The AGM is in October.
