SBC scientists will be joined by apprentices from neighbouring global pharmaceutical company GSK who will give pupils an insight into what a career in science is like.

The evening falls on National Women in Engineering Day (NWED) which celebrates the achievements of women in this sector and their contribution as a whole across other STEM

related areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

Martino Picardo, chief executive of SBC and Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership Board Member, said: “Here at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst we see part of our role being to connect the whole ecosystem of scientists past, present and future.
