Open day fundraiser on anniversary

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, BAYoga will host a celebratory open day with all proceeds going to The Hospice of St Francis.

The activities on Saturday, September 3, will include a range of taster therapy treatments available such as coaching, kinesiology, acupuncture and bowen therapy. There will be an opportunity to book onto an afternoon ‘yoga medley’ to try a range of different yoga styles offered by the studio.

Cathy Haworth, proprietor, said: “My dream five years ago was to provide the local community of Berkhamsted and surrounding areas with a studio that could provide for all their wellness needs.

“We now have a thriving centre providing, yoga, pilates, and eight different treatments including acupuncture and sports massage.

“I would like to thank all the dedicated teachers and therapists who have managed to make this possible, but especially the support and encouragement of all our customers, who without this would not have been possible. BAYoga continues to grow and we have ambitious plans for the future.

“I look forward to continuing to provide for the health and wellbeing of the people of Berkhamsted a little oasis of calm in the centre of town and being part of the fabric of the local community in years to come.”

The event will run from 10am with interested parties encouraged to book a treatment or a spot on the yoga medley workshop in advance to guarantee a place.
