Mum of three gets book deal
Erika Waller, who was born and raised in Northchurch, has based her book - Confessions of a Mother Inferior - on her life experiences.
She said: “I have used experiences in my life to inspire me to write the book.”

Hide AdThe book firm, founded by Murielle Maupoint, works by allowing authors to submit manuscripts. They are then given a target for the number of pre-orders they need to achieve to seal the deal for the book to be printed.
Erika hit her target over the weekend. “I couldn’t really believe it was happening,” said the mum to Gracie, six, Daisy, four and Bliss, three. “It doesn’t really feel real to me, it feels a bit surreal.
“It is pretty incredible that early next year Confessions will be on the shelves.”
Before she was approached by Britain’s Next Bestseller the mum, who is also a blogger, had previously struggled to get the book taken up by publishers who were reluctant to take a chance on a first-time author.

Hide AdShe said: “It’s a pretty cool concept - the idea of putting your money where your mouth is, is a really good one because it proves that people will buy the book.”
Confessions of a Mother Inferior is set to hit the book shelves in the new year.
